Real projects. Real competitions. Real confidence.
Every 21st Mind program builds toward the same goal: putting what kids learn to the test in a real innovation competition.

From first project to competition day
Learn the fundamentals
Kids build core skills in AI, coding, or drones through guided, hands-on projects.
Build a real project
Every skill gets applied to something real — a model, an app, a working drone — not a worksheet.
Team up and prepare
Students form teams, pick a challenge, and prepare their entry with coach support.
Compete
Students enter national and international innovation competitions and put their skills to the test.
This progression comes from the P21 21st-century-skills framework — it's how we make sure every project builds skills your child will still use long after the competition ends.
21st Mind students compete every year at Techlympics, and have gone all the way to winning Scratch Olympiad's international round.
Techlympics
NationalMalaysia's national tech and innovation olympiad, including a Drone category — 21st Mind competes every year.
Scratch Olympiad
InternationalAn international coding competition built on Scratch, MIT's block-based coding platform — 21st Mind students have won at the national round and gone on to win internationally.
Also on the roster
Most of these are innovation competitions — judged on the same mix of technical skill and problem-solving a startup founder needs, not a narrow "AI" or "coding" category. Drone events are the one exception, testing piloting and autonomous flight. Any student can enter any competition — it comes down to interest and readiness, not which program they're enrolled in.
